COVID-19 Communication 3/15

Oh, friends. This is such a hard email to write. We have been working so hard to offer you a safe place to breathe and move during this time of instability. The more I read about how essential social distancing is for slowing the spread of this virus, the more I believe the responsible choice is to temporarily close the studios. Flight Room will be closed after evening classes today and we hope to reopen on Wednesday, April 1.

We are now shifting our efforts to delivering both classes AND community to you remotely. We are committed to offering two online classes each day as well as a community space where we can come together virtually to chat, share and help each other navigate this difficult time. If you have an active pass or plan, we will be in touch very soon with a link to our private Facebook group, where you will find the daily classes, challenges (Lots of fun stuff coming! Prizes for those who complete the largest number of online classes, etc.), daily discussions and more (maybe a book club???). Our teachers are SO excited to continue to be with you over the coming weeks and are already brainstorming amazing class formats for you.

How can you help? On behalf of all of us, I would ask that if it's possible to not suspend your membership during this time, we would appreciate it more than you know. This will allow us to meet our fixed expenses like rent and insurance while also being able to continue to pay our teachers and staff working to bring you our virtual studio.

The Flight Room community is special and I know that together we will make it to the other side of this intact. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to be in touch.

Be well and take care of each other,

Jen
