The Experience

How does five nights of total eco-luxury (accompanied by ocean view aerial yoga, of course) sound?

YES! It’s Flight Room’s fourth adventure at the incomparable Xinalani Retreat, located in an island-like tropical jungle just a 45-minute boat ride from Puerto Vallarta. It’s easy to get to but feels a million miles away once you arrive.

There are SO many things we love about Xinalani: the warm, hospitable folks who work there, the incredible (seriously! the chilaquiles are to DIE for) food, the variety of activities (snorkeling with dolphins, ziplining, salsa dancing, waterfall hikes…the options are endless), the private beach with oceanfront pool…it’s total paradise. And they do a truly impressive job of combining modern amenities (super fast wifi throughout the resort) with rustic luxury (think open air showers and divine bath products.)

Your experience includes three delicious meals each day, eco-luxury accommodation of your choice, 2 yoga classes each day (at least one aerial class daily), airport transfers and access to the resort’s many amenities including pool and beach.

You will have the opportunity to add on other experiences to your stay, ranging from surfing lessons to spa sessions. We intentionally build in plenty of “down time” to allow you to be as adventurous or as relaxed as you’d like.

The all-gender Big Palapa is a spacious, dorm-style accommodation with eight beds and wonderful, high-up ocean and jungle views (plus easy access to the aerial studio!) The palapa is nestled high up on the mountain where the air flow is enriching and cleansing. There are two beautiful bathrooms with open-air showers and every bed has a high quality mosquito net, a night stand and drawer organizer under the bed.

These cozy rooms are nearby the restaurant and beach club – close enough to the fun but far enough away to rest peacefully. They feature one king size bed with beautiful mosquito netting, a table with two chairs, hammock, spacious bathroom and open-air shower.

There’s nothing more luxurious and comforting than being steps away from a quiet, secluded beach right outside your casita, just a few short steps from the silk-like, exfoliating sand. These rooms offer the best, most inspiring ocean views available. Included is a private patio with plunge pool, A/C, hammock, desk, private bathroom with open-air shower and a closet. All casitas are fully enclosed and feature a king size bed with the highest quality mosquito netting.

Food & Beverage

All meals are served buffet style at Xinalani and are truly special. The staff cooks with love and is happy to accommodate dietary needs and restrictions. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are offered at every meal. Check out the 7-day menu right here.

From included activities like kayaking, snorkeling and salsa dancing to add-ons at the spa or amazing adventures like swimming with wild dolphins, you can pack your week with unforgettable experiences.

Transportation

Getting there is always half the fun and that’s especially true with a Xinalani retreat! We’ll travel by panga boat from the marina to the retreat (and maybe spy some dolphins playing along the way!)

Good news: every portion of your transportation once you arrive at your departure airport is coordinated for you and included in your retreat cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Free round trip airfare from the West Coast of the US is included if you pay in full by June 15 or sign-up for the Business Class retreat membership.

Once you register for the retreat, Jen will reach out with information about booking your flight. Most of us will be on the same flight from Seattle but there is some flexibility if you are extending your stay.

If you prefer to book your own flights, we’re happy to give you a $300 discount. Please note that your flight must arrive no later than 4pm on Saturday and depart no earlier than 12pm on Thursday in order to coordinate with the boat transportation.
Please submit one registration form for each person and make a note that you’d like to be paired with your friend/partner and we’ll make sure to book you into the same room.

Please note that the cost is the same even if your travel partner doesn’t plan on attending classes (what a great excuse to get them to try it out!)
This experience is designed to meet you exactly where you are! Some people attending will be experienced aerial yogis and some will be brand new. (Every retreat so far has had students trying aerial for the first time!)
We will all support each other’s growth, no matter which stage of journey we are on.
Many of our retreat attendees register as individuals and are not traveling with a friend or partner, so you’ll be in good company.

If you’re reserving a shared room, we will take care of matching you with another student traveling alone. One of the biggest benefits of the retreat experience is meeting new friends!
Consistent with Xinalani’s policies, cancellations (for any reason including illness or emergency) made more than 90 days before arrival are fully refundable less the $500 deposit. Cancellations made between 31 and 89 days are 50% refundable and cancellations made 30 days or less before arrival are not refundable.

We strongly recommend purchasing “cancel for any reason” travel insurance to protect your investment!
